O&M Halyard SA Entity closure

Dear Valued Customer,
We are reaching out with an update on the closure of the O&M Halyard entity in South Africa effective from March 28th, 2025. This letter follows our initial communication dated October 23rd (see below).
We are pleased to inform you that a local distributor has been identified to take-over our facial protection, surgical gowns, patient care, exam gloves and cleanroom gloves business. Starting March 1st, 2025, PTA agencies will be your new partner for these products.
However, we regret to inform you that no distributor could be found for the Halyard surgical drapes, surgical packs, apparel and sterilization wrap. Consequently, these items will no longer be available after March 28th, 2025.
This letter is the second on a series of communications intended to help clarify the practical details regarding the ordering, delivery and invoicing.
Key Information:
- Product availability: We continue to provide you with our trusted products in the coming months and aim to have products available for delivery up until end of March 2025.
- Latest date for ordering: We will accept your orders till February 28th, 2025, for delivery in March 2025.
- New distributor as of March 1st 2025: PTA Agencies, Unit 4 Tygerberg Station Park, Railway Street, Parrow, 7500. If you wish to buy our products from PTA Agencies (Healthcare) going forward, please contact Usha Pillay at [email protected] or on 0836561894.

- Alternative sourcing: In case a local distributor can be identified to take-over the O&M Halyard business or parts of it we will inform you as soon as possible.
